WE CARE – for our employee wellbeing and the way we do business – This is the way we operate at Minerals Technologies India. During a recent discussion about corporate wellness, we became aware that not all our employees pay attention to the timing of the meals and also proper hydration & nutrition. This could affect long term health of our colleagues. We were searching for expert advise around this area and was referred to Pradnya a registered dietician practicing for last 16 years helping people to get healthy the right way and Balcal Nutrefy team. We were impressed with the practical approach Pradnya had differentiating her from many nutritionists who normally put us on so called ‘diet regimes’. Pradnya’s approach was individual oriented and there was true caring & passion. We had a 3 hour interactive session with our employees and their family - the feedback was that it was an “eye opener”. Our families were able to understand the need for a balanced meal and also got insight into reading labels on packaged food. Overall they felt that the afternoon was well spent with an improved awareness around nutrition.
