Mumbai; Lost 8 kgs and has learnt to manage weekend binging.
Three years back, I saw alarming digits on my weighing scale and decided to seek Pradnya's help in managing my diet. I had never approached a dietician before but had heard about many who prescribed a diet which was not practically applicable in the daily routine.
Something that impressed me about Pradnya was that she never asked me to give up any type of food/drink or have a particular one in excess. She also adjusted the diet taking into mind the weekend binging. Learning the importance of having a protein element in every meal and giving options to incorporate that (since being a vegetarian that's not always easy and the only protein that comes to our mind is the quintessential Dal) was an added bonus.
I shed about 8 kgs in a period of six months and even after three years I have maintained my weight. Everyone wants to lose weight and FAST, but Pradnya helped me achieve my goal stressing not on the quick and shortcut way but a more balanced long-lasting one.
