Mumbai; Lost 16kgs and has been able to maintain it with lifestyle changes.

74 kgs– way beyond the ideal weight for my height. Salwar-kurta was my usual attire. I used to feel terrible looking at the mirror. Started exercising, but of no use. Weight and frustration both kept on increasing.

One option was diet. But, I always thought diet means eating less, diet means tasteless food, diet means following some crazy things which you just cannot follow throughout your life and many more things.

58 kgs to 60 kgs – Ideal weight maintained. I can wear anything I want. I feel nice looking at the mirror. I enjoy my diet and exercise. Weight is maintained and there is no frustration at all.

It is fun to observe yourself while reducing weight and inches gradually. Was this journey painful? Did I ever have to compromise on taste? No... not at all. This journey was possible only because of Pradnya tai and she indeed made it really enjoyable.

If it is something to do with health and exercise, she is my answer. If you have worked with her once, you will never have to go to a dietician again and in case you have to, you will not prefer anyone else.

Her diet is completely opposite to what I had pictured in my mind. It means eating much more than you can imagine. Basically, just keep eating 😊. She also tells you some healthy yet tasty recipes and hence no compromise on taste. Her diet does not involve crazy things like liquid diet or salad diet etc. It includes the things which we eat daily and hence it is pretty easier to continue with it even after diet sessions are over. She also asks you to exercise. You will realise that you don’t have to do a strenuous exercise to lose weight. A simple half an hour daily walk also helps.

Does this mean no eating out with friends, no travelling, no family functions? Absolutely not. She ensures that you follow the diet and tells you what to eat and what to avoid on such occasions. She makes you realise that there are many things that we can eat without hampering our diet and sacrificing enjoyment.

In a nutshell, after following her diet, I understood how my body works, what I should eat, how much I should eat, why exercise is so important and what it takes to follow a truly healthy lifestyle. She made this process very interesting and simple.

Oh, not to forget, you also get a chance to cheat sometimes 😛
