Watermelon Mint Popsicle | Low Calorie Recipe | Healthy Dessert

Watermelon is a good source of vitamin C and contains other micronutrients such as potassium, copper, vitamin B5 and vitamin A. It is known to reduce blood pressure and muscle soreness after the exercise. During the summers, watermelon is a great way to rehydrate body due to its water content.

Mint leaves contain rosmarinic acid, an antioxidant that has anti- allergic and anti- inflammatory properties. Mint relieves gastrointestinal problems. It also has a natural cooling effect. A combination of these gives a refreshing taste and nourishes the body.

Watermelon Mint Popsicle is a delicious healthy choice.

Ingredients:
  • Watermelon Chopped – 2 Cups
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Tbsp
  • Mint Leaves – finely diced
  • Sugar – 1 Tsp
Method:
  1. Blend watermelon, lemon juice and sugar together. Do not strain it.
  2. Stir in the freshly chopped mint leaves.
  3. In a popsicle mould, pour the mixture.
  4. Cover and freeze for 8 hours until set completely.
  5. Finally, unmould the popsicle and enjoy.
