you should try the variyali sharbat or saunf sharbat. This drink is perfect for summers with its digestive
properties, and it’s super easy to make with ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.
In this recipe, I’ll show you how to make this sharbat with fennel seeds, cardamom, and sugar. So, why

Fennel seeds possess a cooling effect that can prevent heat stroke and aid in digestion. Green
cardamom has a cooling potency that effectively reduces stomach acidity and helps to heal ulcers.
Sabja seeds, also known as Basil seeds, are abundant in essential nutrients and serve as an excellent
source of dietary fiber. This, in turn, improves digestion and prevents constipation. Additionally, these
seeds are loaded with antioxidants, such as flavonoids and polyphenols, which help protect cells from
damage caused by free radicals.
Ingredients
- Fennel Seeds – ¼ Cup
- Rock Sugar – ¼ Cup
- Chilled Water – 2 Glass
- Rock Salt – as per taste
- Lemon Juice – 1 Tbsp
- Sabja Seeds – 2 Tbsp
- Jeera Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
- Chopped Mint Leaves – for garnishing
Method
- Take a mixer grinder add the fennel seeds, and rock sugar.
- Grind it to make a smooth powder.
- Take one large bowl and add 3 tablespoons saunf sharbat premix powder.
- Add salt, jeera powder and mix it well.
- Add chilled water as required and lemon juice and mix it properly
- Pour the above chilled mixture in to the glass with some ice cubes, chopped mint leaves and sabja seeds.
- Serve chilled.
