Amaranth is a good source of carbohydrates, fiber, protein and other minerals like calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, iron, folate and selenium. The grains are also rich in antioxidants. An important aspect of this tiny grain is that it is gluten-free. Rajgira also aids in weight loss, protects against cancer, fights inflammation, promotes bone health, improves digestion, and promotes heart health.
Ingredients
- Rajgira (Amaranth) flour – ½ Cup
- Salt – ½ Teaspoon
- Coriander Leaves – As required
- Ghee – 1 Teaspoon
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients and make a dough using water.
- Dust the surface with Rajgira flour thoroughly and roll the dough softly while continuously clamping the sides.
- Cook it on a pan. Apply ghee and enjoy with any sabji or dal.
