Guacamole wrap is a healthy way to incorporate all the important components which includes carbohydrates, protein, fiber, healthy fats in your diet. Avocados are not only rich in fiber, but also in healthy fats, vitamin C, E, B6, magnesium and folate. The fiber present in avocadoes helps to maintain good gut health. The vitamin C, E and carotenoid lutein are strong antioxidants and show anti- inflammatory properties in the body .
Chicken adds to the lean protein content of the meal and ensure it a balanced meal in terms of all the macronutrients. This wrap recipe is a wholesome meal which is versatile and can be a quick meal option on a busy day.
Ingredients:
- Avocado – 1 Peeled & Diced
- Tomato – ½ Cup Chopped
- Lettuce leaves – 3 to 4
- Wheat Flour Roti – 1 to 2
- Shredded Grilled Chicken – 100 Gms
- Lemon Juice – 1 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- In a mixing bowl, take avocado, lemon juice and salt and mash till smooth.
- Add chopped tomatoes and mix it together to make the guacamole mixture.
- Take a roti and place lettuce on it.
- Spread the guacamole mixture on the top. Spread shredded chicken on the top.
- Wrap it tightly, cut in half and serve.
