Chickoo banana smoothie is an energy dense smoothie. This smoothie is rich in iron, calcium phosphorous, protein and fat. Banana is an excellent choice for weight gain. They are not only rich in carbs but also contains other vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Chickoo contains good amount of fiber and antioxidant. It is great for our skin and has an anti-cancer properties. Milk provides a perfect balance of protein, fats and carbs and helps in weight gain. Date is another good source of iron, magnesium, copper and vitamin B6. Almonds provides healthy fats, fiber and Vitamin E and helps to lower overall cholesterol levels. This smoothie will boost our energy and also make our bone strong and reduce the risk of heart disease due to its rich fiber content. This delicious smoothie can easily be taken in breakfast, in evening or as a post workout drink.
Ingredients:
- Chickoo – 1 medium size
- Banana – 1 medium
- Dates – 4 no.
- Milk – 200ml
- Almonds – 5 in No.
Method:
- Cut the chickoo and remove the seeds.
- Peel the banana and cut it into small pieces and deseed the dates.
- Add all the ingredients and half of almonds in the blender and blend it until a thick creamy consistency.
- Pour the Chickoo Banana Smoothie into glasses, garnished it with remaining chopped nuts and serve chilled.
