Almonds are high in protein and low in carbs, in order can be used as the main ingredient in a roti, paratha, or bread. Because they are high in omega-3 fatty acids, they help to reduce inflammation in the body, promote good heart health, and aid in digestion. The Psyllium husk powder absorbs moisture and aids in the preparation of rotis. Lukewarm water will absorb into the flour much more efficiently. Cold water requires more resting time.
Ingredients:
- Almond Flour – 1 Cup
- Psyllium Husk – 3-4 Tbsp
- Salt – As per Taste
- Warm Water – As required
- Oil – 1 Tsp
Method:
- Combine almond flour, psyllium husk, and salt in a mixing bowl & mix them together.
- Add in the oil and warm water until all the liquid is absorbed and a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 1-2 minutes, then set it aside for 5 minutes to rest.
- Divide the dough into equal parts and roll each one into a round ball by hand.
- Roll the ball between two sheets of butter paper.
- Cook on a nonstick pan with a little oil for frying & Server Hot
