Air fried chickpeas or Chole is a tasty snack for the health-conscious foodie. It is a protein-packed recipe. Chickpeas are low in glycemic index, thus helping to manage the blood glucose levels. Furthermore, they contain fiber, which helps feel full for longer. They are also rich in vitamins and minerals such as manganese, phosphorus, magnesium and vitamin B complexes.
Ingredients:
Overnight Soaked & Boiled Chickpeas – 1 Cup
Red Chilli Powder – ½ Teaspoon
Dried Mango Powder/Amchur – ½ Teaspoon
Coriander Powder/Cumin Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
Salt as Per Taste
Oil – ½ Teaspoon for Brushing
Method:
- In a bowl add all ½ teaspoon oil, all the spices, and boiled chickpeas
- Toss them around until they’re evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer at 190 degrees Celsius
- Add the chickpeas to the air fryer and spread them evenly
- Air fry them for 12 – 14 mins at 190 degrees Celsius. Shake the basket and regular intervals
- And the roasted chickpeas are ready to serve
- Make sure to store them in a dry and clean jar
