Dalia Idli | Nutritious Breakfast | Oil Free Recipe

Dalia idli is super easy to make and ideal recipe for the weight loss. It is a perfect complex carbohydrate recipe that is rich in fiber and gives you early satiety. Broken Wheat Idli is an instant Idli made with healthy and nutritious broken wheat (dalia). There is no soaking, grinding or fermentation process required to make this Idli.

It is one very quick Idli recipe which can be served with tomato chutney, Coriander chutney enjoy. Broken Wheat or dalia is a good source of fibre as it contains both wheat germ and wheat bran. It is also a source of complex carbohydrates and has B-vitamins.

Ingredients:
  • Dalia Roasted – 1 Cup
  • Grated Carrot – ½ Cup
  • Chopped Coriander – 2 Tablespoon
  • Curd – ½ Cup
  • Eno Salt – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil – for greasing
Method:
  1. Take big bowl and add Roasted dalia to it
  2. Add grated carrot, coriander, curd, salt and water and mix
  3. Set aside the mixture for 30 minutes
  4. Adjust the consistency of the mixture after 30 minutes, add eno salt, and mix well.
  5. Grease the idli plates with little oil and pour the mixture in each
  6. Steam for 20 minutes and serve hot with sambar and chutney.
